Although hyperbaric dates back almost four centuries; the awareness of its effectiveness and the broad range of conditions it can be utilized to treat remain untold to the vast majority of both physicians and the general population. However, despite public awareness, hyperbaric therapies have continued to make strides in nearly all areas of health and wellness. Unfortunately, without the marketing dollars of large pharmaceutical companies to disseminate ground breaking research and case studies… the community has relied on the efforts of small manufacturing companies and private clinics to educate the public. Let’s face it though, when was the last time you saw a commercial for hyperbaric on television, even radio for that matter. Fact is, hyperbaric can’t be patented, and for that reason… one person or corporation doesn’t stand to make billions on the industry; which results in un-unified marketing efforts, leading to market confusion and mis-information, a confused and uneducated community, and last but not least… a therapy in the shadows.
Our Vision: To unite the hyperbaric community, both mild and clinical, towards the common goal of assisting individuals towards achieving a better quality of life.
Mild, clinical, deep, compressed air… it’s all hyperbaric in the end! In fact, one of the biggest things holding the hyperbaric community back, is the hyperbaric community itself. In the end, it’s all about time and place! Granted, a mild hyperbaric chamber has no business being used to treat a gas embolism… but at the same token, low pressures have shown trends in being more effective in treating neurological conditions where as deep pressures have shown to be counter-productive in most cases. Further, when we look beyond the strict clinical/rehabilitative application of hyperbaric, and peer into the wellness/anti-aging potential of the therapy, we begin to see the bigger picture… that of, preventative medicine. For no reason other than personal interest and prejudice have the mild and clinical sides of hyperbaric fought for so long… it’s time we all realize we have a job to do, bring health to our planet!
